SCHOONER POLES
Handmade Wood Flagpoles
2007
Our Wood Flagpole Construction
is in the tradition of the wooden spar construction. Wood flagpoles
come with a gold leaf copper ball, halyard (dacron line), stainless steel
halyard clips, wood schooner cleats, and handmade wood truck (pulley assembly).
A massive wood side post is set in the ground and supports the flagpole with
stainless steel bolts; this design is for lowering the pole for maintenance
and seasonal storage. They are finished with one coat West System epoxy,
and three coats of white marine paint. Our Wood flagpoles are guaranteed
to withstand 80 mph winds with a flag, 90 mph winds unflagged for 10 years.
We recommend painting and changing halyards every 5 years.
